Director - Aleah Jones

Aleah Jones has been into filmmaking for three years. Before then, she enjoyed making videos with her friends and always chose the “make a video” option for school projects when available. But her freshman year in high school, Aleah took a video class at Derby High School and discovered her passion for film. She continued taking video classes, broadening her skill set to include filming, editing, acting, and animation. For the Derby High School Video Production program, also known as DTV, she has worked with a friend to produce of a series of comedy shorts titled “Rookie Mistakes,” as well as a Star War parody titled “A New Apprentice.” Old Times Not Forgotten is Aleah’s first festival, and “Creative Culture” is her first big project released.
